Our Story

Where passion meets performance, and dreams become reality

The Beginning

How We Got Started

Look, I'll be honest with you - back in 2018, we were just a group of former athletes tired of bouncing between mediocre facilities around Vancouver. We'd been there, done that, dealt with cramped courts, outdated equipment, and booking systems that felt like they were stuck in the '90s.

So we figured, why not build something better? Something that'd actually serve the community the way it deserved. We pooled our resources, found this spot on Boundary Road, and got to work. Wasn't easy, but nothing worth doing ever is, right?

Opening Our Doors

March 2019 was a pretty special month for us. We opened with just three courts and a whole lot of hope. First week? Honestly, it was quiet. We started wondering if we'd made a huge mistake. But then word got out - the courts were good, the equipment was top-notch, and we actually cared about making things work for our members.

Within six months, we had a waiting list for prime time slots. Local schools started reaching out. Youth programs wanted in. It was crazy, in the best way possible.

Growing Up

Leveling Up

COVID hit us hard, not gonna lie. But during that time, we realized people needed spaces to stay active more than ever. So we doubled down - added badminton courts, squash facilities, upgraded ventilation, and really focused on making this place safe and welcoming.

By 2022, we'd expanded to what you see today. Brought in certified coaches, started hosting regional tournaments, and launched our youth development programs. It's been wild watching kids who started with us now competing at provincial levels.

Where We're At Now

These days, we're hosting championship events, training elite athletes, and still making time for the weekend warriors who just wanna get some runs in. We've got over 2,000 active members, partnerships with local schools, and a reputation that honestly makes us proud.

But here's the thing - we haven't forgotten where we came from. Every decision we make still comes back to that original question: would this serve our community better? If the answer's yes, we do it.

What We're Really About

Our mission ain't some fancy corporate statement - it's pretty straightforward, actually.

We're here to give athletes at every level - from kids just picking up a ball for the first time to seasoned competitors chasing championships - a place where they can train, improve, and feel like they belong. No pretentious attitudes, no gatekeeping, just quality facilities and people who genuinely care.

We believe sports should be accessible. Not everyone's gonna go pro, and that's perfectly fine. Some folks just want a good workout, others wanna compete on weekends, and yeah, some are aiming for the big leagues. We're here for all of 'em.

At the end of the day, if you leave here feeling better than when you walked in - whether that's physically, mentally, or just 'cause you had a solid game with friends - we've done our job.
